Country Days is a time-honored tradition that begins with the cheers and waves of hundreds of families and friends as the parade makes its way along Historic High Street. Immediately following the parade is a good old fashion street fair featuring local vendors, crafts, entertainment, a children’s village, and overall just plain fun.
The Country Days Parade and Street Fair is going to have food vendors, live entertainment, and games for the entire family to participate in together. All of the entertainment and events are geared towards families, and will strive to create and maintain a family-friendly environment. This event is going to take place at the Historic High Street here in Moorpark, on Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the parade starting at 10:30 a.m. The Parade provides an outlet for local businesses and residents to march together through the city. http://moorparkcountrydays.com/index.html
In addition to the musical acts, there are going to be several fun activities that the entire family can do together including: a pie-eating contest for all ages, a horseshoe throwing contest, and there are going to be several fun carnival-style games for children to play.
But don't stop there because on Sunday Oct. 4 is the Moorpark Mammoth Run. Run the ancient trails of the Southern Mammoths through the beautiful rolling hills of Moorpark.
