At Young Actors Academy of Performing Arts in Agoura Hills, students receive exceptional training in acting, singing and musical theatre. Whether your child is a rising star or would just like to build confidence whilst being creative and having a lot of fun, at YAA they will find a welcoming and supportive environment to learn new skills and discover hidden talents. All classes are taught by professional teaching artists currently working in film, TV and on stage .
‘LOST’ actress Susan Duerden is the Artistic Director, an award winning TV, film and West End theatre actress who has worked and taught in the US, UK and Europe. Extensive film and TV work includes 'The Unit', 'NCIS', 'Vice', ‘Days of Our Lives’, ‘Lovewrecked’ and 'The Lost Princess'. She has also choreographed several musicals and has worked alongside Michael Jackson and the director/choreographer Kenny Ortega (High School Musical Movie Trilogy). Susan has taught at top acting schools in Los Angeles and London.
