Moorpark Country Days

September 27th

September 25, 2014
It’s that time of the year, again, for Moorpark’s annual Country Days Parade and Street Fair. This event is a great place to not only have fun with your family, it’s also a great opportunity to meet some of your neighbors, and to learn more about our city of Moorpark.
The Country Days Parade and Street Fair is going to have food vendors, live entertainment, and games for the entire family to participate in together. All of the entertainment and events are geared towards families, and will strive to create and maintain a family-friendly environment. Make the Country Days Parade and Street Fair a number one destination for fun in the month of September.
This event is going to take place at the Historic High Street here in Moorpark, on Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the parade starting at 10:30 a.m. The Parade provides an outlet for local businesses and residents to march together through the city. The Country Days Parade and Street Fair is going to feature music by Midnight Train, (a local Moorpark band), and country music sensation Brooke Ansley, who will be performing her new hit “Why Can’t I Leave.”
In addition to the musical acts, there are going to be several fun activities that the entire family can do together including: a pie-eating contest for all ages, a horseshoe throwing contest, and there are going to be several fun carnival-style games for children to play.
The Country Days Parade and Street Fair also provides local businesses a chance to get the word out and interact with the public. The Moorpark Chamber of Commerce announces that the Grand Marshalls for the parade are going to be first graders who attend school in Moorpark.
The Country Days Parade and Street Fair is brought to the residents of Moorpark by the Chamber of Commerce of the city of Moorpark. The Moorpark Chamber of Commerce has been an active participant in the city of Moorpark for generations, and it has been promoting business interests for almost a century. See you Sept. 27 at 9 a.m.
