The Simi Valley Relay for Life is scheduled to begin on Saturday October 21 at 9 am at the Simi Valley Town Center. The Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of the American Cancer Society.
WHAT IS THE RELAY FOR LIFE??
Teams of people camp out at Camarillo high school and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Relays are 24 hours in length; representing the reality that cancer never sleeps. By participating, you honor cancer survivors, pay tribute to the lives we've lost to the disease, and raise money to help fight cancer in your community.
