ln honor of the City of Simi Valley's 50th Anniversary being celebrated throughout 2019, the City, in cooperation with the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, announced a free event for all ages on Saturday, June 22,2019 at Corriganville Park and the Santa Susana Train Depot and Museum to bring to life Simi Valley's long film history.

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on June 22, at Corriganville Park, residents are invited to join Gregg Anderson, for an "On Location" two-hour walking tour to see where more than 400 movies and television shows were filmed at the Corriganville Movie Ranch from Fort Apache to today's blockbusters.

Next, visit the Santa Susana Train Depot to see what the Corriganville Movie Ranch looked like during the heyday of filming. At 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June22, docents will lead presentations about the history of film in Simi Valley. Participants will also explore a model of the Corriganville Movie Ranch, posters, and memorabilia.
